Passing Away of Dr. Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche

It is with deep sadness that the Karmapa Foundation Europe (KFE) announces the death of Dr.Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche. Rinpoche was assassinated in Chengdu (China) yesterday morning, together with his attendant Chime and one of his nephews.
The reasons behind this mad gesture are still unknown. The KFE expresses its heartfelt condolences to the members of Rinpoche’s family and to all his students.
